Women’s History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. At this event, women members of nonprofit partners were given free eye exams and prescription eyeglasses.

This was AINAK’s second tabling event hosted by Aditi our High School Volunteer. At this event, we received a number of gently used eyeglasses as well as donated funds for Giving Tuesday.

Ainak celebrated AAPI Month 2021
Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is observed in the United States during the month of May and recognizes the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. From this event, we provided free glasses to 20+ members of the Samoan and Tongan communities of East Palo Alto.
